I was shocked when I was able to shoot consistent 3 shot groups at 100 yards with all holes touching using cheap federal 130 grainers from a rifle that cost me $210. My TC Venture straight out of the box blistered my Rem 700 out of the box ! The 783 is also equipped with a Supercell recoil pad which Remington claims reduces felt recoil by 54%. No complaints on this rifle was shooting about 1.5 inches at 175 yards for 3 shot groups consistently with cheap Privi Partizan 174 grain soft points. I like it.
